What are we looking for?

As part of strengthening the Group Internal Audit Department and supporting the maturity of the internal control system within the Group, the position aims to support the execution of the multi-year audit plan, risk assessment, and harmonization of practices across multiple Group subsidiaries.

What do we expect from the candidate?

The Junior Internal Auditor plays a key role in the execution of the audit plan and the strengthening of the internal control system.

The key responsibilities:

•Audit Mission Management:

•Prepare and execute audit work programs in accordance with professional standards.

•Conduct internal audit missions autonomously across all processes and Group subsidiaries.

•Internal Control & Risk Assessment:

•Perform internal control reviews to assess their effectiveness and propose improvement areas.

•Actively participate in updating the Group risk mapping.

•Reporting & Recommendation Follow-up:

•Prepare and present clear, concise, and impactful audit reports to management.

•Ensure rigorous follow-up on the implementation of issued recommendations.

•Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

•Work closely with IT teams, subsidiary management, and other departments.

•Communicate audit findings and recommendations effectively to all relevant stakeholders.

If you possess…

Must-Have:

•Experience: Mixed experience of 3 to 5 years minimum in audit firm (Big Four type) and in-house as an internal auditor. Proven experience in multi-country environments, ideally in Africa.

•Education: Master's degree in Audit, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

•Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of internal control, risk management, and key business processes. Proficiency in data analytics tools (Power BI, advanced Excel, etc.). Mastery of professional internal audit standards (IIA standards). Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.

•Skills: Strong analytical, synthesis, and critical thinking skills. Integrity, independence, objectivity, and sense of confidentiality. High flexibility and geographic mobility for travel to subsidiaries. Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks (COSO), risk management methods, and corporate governance.

Nice-to-Have:

•Diplomas: Professional certifications in internal audit (CIA - Certified Internal Auditor) or accounting (ACCA, CA, CPA) are highly valued and considered a strong asset.
