Senior Functional Consultant for D365 Finance & Operations

What are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced and talented Functional Consultant D365 Finance & Operations to join our IT Hub based in Belgrade, Serbia. He/she should have good knowledge of the logistic and production modules and be fluent in English, French highly appreciated.
What do we expect from the candidate?
The candidate will be part of our global ERP-Team and mainly work in supply chain modules, give training, support users, analyze user requests and write designs to be implemented by our in-house D365 developers. Occasional travel to Africa will be necessary, especially during new roll-out projects.
The key responsibilities:
Train users in supply chain, logistic and production processes within D365 F&O.
Give user support together with other internal and external consultants to currently 600 users.
Configure, maintain and upgrade D365 F&O modules like WMS, supply chain, and manufacturing.
Perform business analysis and process analysis. Understand and analyse business processes to identify improvement opportunities and discuss with the stakeholders to find solutions for their requests. Document and communicate findings clearly.
Write designs together with our developers according to the user requirements efficiently combining standard D365 F&O functionality and providing effort estimations.
Contribute to a D365 F&O implementation as part of the ERP team with a focus on logistics and production modules. SOLEVO takes responsibility for the full lifecycle in a roll-out project.
Produce Technical Documentation: including API guides, system diagrams, and user manuals, to support development and implementation.
Define Interfaces: between all integrated systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
Must-Have:
At least 8+ years of experience as a Supply chain/ Logistics consultant for Dynamics 365 Finance&operations.
Participation in roll-out projects of D365 F&O or Axapta
Business analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand business processes, identify improvement areas, and analyse user requirements.
Requirements gathering and management: Expertise in eliciting detailed requirements from stakeholders and translating them into clear, actionable technical specifications.
Ability to produce comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API documentation, and user manuals.
Excellent communication skills in fluent English for effective stakeholder engagement and documentation.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Nice-to-Have:
Technical background: experience with Power Platform and BI systems like PowerBI.
Certifications in process or project management methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) beneficial.
Project management tools: Knowledge of project management tools (JIRA, Asana, Trello) and collaboration platforms (Confluence, Slack).

Demonstrated ability to tackle complex problems effectively and adapt to fast-paced development environments.
Strong leadership qualities and the ability to mentor junior consultants.
Proven track record of working effectively in remote team settings, demonstrating flexibility, and contributing positively to a collaborative work environment.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex requirements, identify potential bottlenecks, and devise effective solutions. Strong debugging skills to efficiently resolve issues in the development process.
