What are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced and talented Technical Sales to join our Chemical department based in Tema. The candidate should have good knowledge of Sales, market research, and be fluent in English.
What do we expect from the candidate?
The candidate will be part of our global Team and mainly work with the Chems commercial department, develop the client portfolio of the food segment to ensure business growth, implement relevant actions to boost sales. Ensure the promotion and sale of Food products & inputs and other SOLEVO services to companies under his/her responsibility, ensuring their retention, in line with the commercial policy defined by management
The key responsibilities:
Conduct market studies on new products and solutions to bring innovation to market players.
Ensure competitive monitoring to implement proactive actions to become a market leader.
Work closely with the Commercial Director on the development of new products to expand the product range.
Perform business analysis and process analysis. Understand and analyse business processes to identify improvement opportunities and discuss with the stakeholders to find solutions for their requests. Document and communicate findings clearly.
Collect market information, analyze, comment & make recommendations.
Identify, propose and develop high value-added products or services to ensure segment growth and gain market share.
Work closely with the collections manager on customer follow-ups and collection of overdue invoices.
If you possess…
Must-Have:
At least 5+ years of experience as a Technical Sales
Knowledge of group products and services
Business analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand business processes, identify improvement areas, and analyse user requirements.
Identify new needs and propose complementary or alternative offers
Adapt communication to different stakeholders in presenting offers and products
Excellent communication skills in English and French (a plus) for effective stakeholder engagement and documentation.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Engeneering, Food Science, Chemical Engineering
