What are we looking for?

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Receiving Clerk who can accurately receive, inspect, and record incoming goods. The ideal candidate is organised, able to follow procedures, work well in a fast‑paced environment, and communicate effectively with internal teams and suppliers while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

What do we expect from the candidate?

The successful candidate should be punctual, trustworthy, and detail‑focused, with the ability to accurately handle documentation and inventory records. We expect a strong work ethic, basic computer literacy, good communication skills, and the ability to follow safety and operational procedures consistently while working independently or as part of a team.

The key responsibilities:

• Perform receiving tasks such as stacking, loading and unloading stock off vehicles (internal and external).

• Perform tasks around movement of raw materials and packaging between warehouses, factory, and various storage locations.

• Forklift operation.

• Administrative tasks associated with material receipts, movements and includes performing system movements on the company ERP systems.

• Accountable for own basic discipline, following instructions, timekeeping, adhering to all company policies and procedures as per the Rolfes Agri Management Systems (RAIMS) including safety, manufacturing, site, quality control regulations and procedures.

• Wearing of required PPE (correct usage and care of PPE) as specified in product batch sheets and the RAIMS.

• Responsible for reporting all safety accidents, incidents, near misses and any other abnormal observations to Team Leader, Supervisor and/or Safety Supervisor.

• Follow any reasonable instruction from the Materials Co-ordinator and/or any other company senior management.

• Assist with maintaining high standards of housekeeping, neat and safe stacking and storage practices.

If you possess…

Must-Have:

• Grade 12 (Matric).

• Forklift License.

• At least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.

• Must have computer skills.

• Must be knowledgeable about stock movements.
