What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Despatch Clerk who can work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensure accuracy in orders and dispatch processes, and take responsibility for timely, compliant deliveries while maintaining high operational standards.
What do we expect from the candidate?
We expect a proactive and dependable individual with strong attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to accuracy in all dispatch processes. You should be organised, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team while ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
The key responsibilities:
Print daily Order List.
Print picking slips.
Ensure the pickers draw the correct stock as per order.
Check quantities and stock codes against picking slips, invoices or sales order acknowledgement to ensure accuracy.
Plan and arrange deliveries to customers.
Print delivery notes.
Ensure COA's, Trecards and SOS are printed and attached to delivery notes where applicable.
Ensure vehicles are checked, inspected and all transport guidelines and regulations are adhered to.
Ensure goods return notes are done for all products and equipment that must be returned and attached to the POD's.
Scan all POD's to the shared drive (S:Drive).
Ensure all PODs are submitted daily to Customer Service.
Ensure all goods leaving the warehouse in the form of collections, are accounted for by a system generated delivery note.
Resolve issues with missing or damaged goods by informing the warehouse manager.
Ensure Housekeeping is in order.
Attend and actively participate in all weekly toolbox talks.
Assist with stock takes as and when required.
Adhere and uphold all company related policies and procedures.

Grade 12
Forklift licence
Medically fit to operate a forklift
